Personal history:
Dr Nagaraj Puttaswamy started his practice way back in 2000 as an enthusiastic Laparoscopic surgeon and since then he has performed more than 15000 types of Laparoscopic Surgeries with proficiency and perfection. Over the years, he has been an active contributor to multiple presentations and orations and has been widely acclaimed for orchestrating multiple live workshops on laparoscopic surgeries.
Putting forth his academic and professional accolades, Dr Puttaswamy was a scholar candidate during his MS,General Surgery at JJMMC,Davangere and his graduation from AIIMS, Bellur, Mandya. Being an enthusiastic and avid learner, he received exponential exposure in Laparoscopic Surgeries in reputed institutions in India and abroad. To upgrade and update his knowledge of Laparoscopy, Dr Puttaswamy participated in multiple short courses on Laparoscopic specialities, namely Basics of Laparoscopy, Animal lab on Advanced Laparoscopy, Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery, Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery and so on.
Dr Nagaraj Puttaswamy was also invited to Singapore to enlighten his peers with the glow of his knowledge on Laparoscopic Hernioplasty,adding a feather to his cap..

They also have conducted multiple Live Laparoscopic workshops on Gynaec and General Surgeries, and have put efforts to develop simplified techniques of performing Lap Surgeries.
Laparoscopic Surgeries performed under Spinal Anaesthesia is a big challenge and Punya Hospital has performed 20000+ safe and successful laparoscopic surgeries with spinal anaesthesia in the last 18 years.
